How to Use a Vision Board with the Law of Attraction

In this article, we are going to teach you how to use a vision board with the Law of Attraction. This powerful technique can help you realize your dreams much quicker- not to mention its fun too. Visions boards are also known as treasure maps, goal boards, and goal maps. But for the sake of this article, we are going to use the term “vision board” as the universal word to describe all of those. This method for making your goals clear is nothing new.

As a matter of fact, it has been around for generations and really became popular when John Assaraf (from the Secret) told his story about his vision board and all of the success it brought him. You can learn more about that by watching the movie or reading the book.

What is a Vision Board?

To put simply, a vision board represents all of your desires, wants, and needs in the form of pictures and graphics. These pictures can literally be anything; drawings, slogans, cut-outs from posters, or anything which represents your wants. The good thing about a vision board is that there isn’t a right or wrong way to do it. You have an artistic license to create it however you want and in a way which works best for you.

It works hand in hand with the Law of Attraction which states, “You attract what you think about most”. By having a vision board, you consistently remind yourself what you are after thus, making the manifestation process happens even faster. Also note, it’s equally important to incorporate pictures which evoke your feelings- not necessarily your mind. Your feelings (when in tune with the universe) are what really bring you the things you want.

How to Make a Vision Board

As I mentioned earlier, there isn’t a right or wrong way on how to use a vision board with the law of attraction. It’s all about creativity. Many students of the Law of Attraction have produced boards which can sell for a lot of money at art shows. Does this mean that if you don’t create a professional looking vision board that the process won’t work? This is far from the truth. Artistic ability plays a small (and I mean very small) role in your ability to make a vision board.

Elements of a Vision Board

So what elements should your vision board evoke? First of all, it should trigger your visual senses. Your subconscious mind works in mysterious ways so you definitely want a board which is very visually dynamic. Remember, they don’t necessarily have to be pictures. They can be slogans or other pieces of writing too. Pretty much feel free to include anything that will be fun to look at.

Next, make sure that these images make you feel something. After all, this is an emotional universe and that is what drives people to do the things that they do. Make sure that you get an excited, good feeling when you look at your board. If you don’t then you’ve done something wrong and need to change it. Remember, your vision board should make you feel happy and it should fuel you with motivation and passion every time you look at it. So that my friend is how to use a Vision Board with the Law of Attraction.
